写了三个国家的兴衰史，从桃园三结义至三国归晋共经历了五大时期，便是黄巾之乱，董卓之乱，群雄割据（官渡之战，赤壁之战），三分天下和天下归晋。

黄巾之乱是从桃园三结义开始，讲了黄巾起义之后，东汉政府的反击，出现了刘备，曹操等英雄，而东汉^也快灭亡了。

董卓之乱是讲董卓入京前后的故事，从何进与十常侍对战到少帝逃出京城，结果被董卓救驾。董卓入京后收买了猛将吕布，又废少帝，立献帝，大权独揽，实施暴政，逼得群雄联军伐董卓，虽然后来联军失败了，但是董卓最后也被吕布所杀。

群雄割据是讲董卓死后，中原诸侯群龙无首，为了扩大自己的地盘互相厮杀，最主要分为三个战区，即北方的袁绍与公孙瓒，江东地区孙策的崛起，中原地区曹操，刘备，吕布，袁术之间的战争。

In the book it said:^ Boa constrictors swallow their prey whole, without chewing it. After that they are not able to move, and they sleep through the six months that they need for digestion.^

I pondered deeply, then, over the adventures of the jungle. And after some work with a colored pencil I succeeded in making my first drowing,My Drawing Number One. It looked like this:

I showed my masterpiece to the grown-ups, and asked them whether the drawing frightened them.

But they answered:^Frighten? Why should any one be frightened by a hat?^

My drawing was not a picture of a hat. It was a picture of a boa constrictor digesting an elephant. But since the grown-ups were not able to understand it, I made another drawing: I drew the inside of the boa constrictor,so that the grown-ups could see it clearly. They always need to have things explained. My Drawing Number Two looked like this:

The grown-ups response,this time, was to adviseme to lay aside my drawing of boa constrictors,whether from the inside or the outside and devote myself instead to geography, history, arithmetic and grammar.
