On the stage of life, somebody roars for the unfairneof fate, or swallows the glory of being an aristocrat.

Someone sinks into the marish of love, or becomes mad for the comradery.

What is love? Nobody could explain it thoroughly.

The eudaemonia of double-winned always hides the lament and pomp of self-sacrifice.

The phantom of the opera, a monster being born noblest, mask becomes his first cold clothes since he get his life.

Merely for his face, he is excluded from the wonderful world with no dignity nor concern, he fall low to a ghost everywhere, even turns to be a clown in the tank of circus.

Loving the role of phantom, just for his awful visage, but his blood of eudaemonia can’t be covered, his talent of music can’t be ignored, his purchase of love can’t be cut off as well.

He loves Christine, a inglorious dancer in the opera.

To help her steps on the throne of music, he creates the graceful music, the significant opera, and even vouchsafes the secret of music for her.

The phantom thinks that Christine belongs to him, or just because that she is poured with all his enthusiasm.

She represents all the rational and irrational pursuit of him.

However, when Christine makes a solemn pledge of love with Laur, the heart of phantom has broken into pieces.

Solitude and forsaken feeling has attracts him again.

The dismal shout lacerates the silent night of Paris, but it’s no using changing the arrangement of fate.

He is not willing to revenge, or, he knows he is not able to change the all in the real world, therefore, he chooses to kill piange to acts himself as the Tandheng, becoming the charater in the opera he writes for Christine.

Hidden in his thick coat, surrounded with the police in the opera house, come on his peak of poetic perfection with his lover.

Wishing to become the dominance of love in his own created world.

He might knows he must dies in the tragedy of the real world.

He takes off Christine, however, is he really wants to occupy her? No, because when Christine kissed him deeply without notice his face, he shambles.

We can even realize the monster-like face is tearing.

It is a sense of felicity, a kind of esoteric felicity.

He is not that cruel, nor is lack of sympathy, what all he need is just the dignity of others, the dignity from the person he loves.

He can give up Christine, ma-ki-ng her take it on the lam with Laur, but want to see the straight inside Christine, the cling of Laur.

When Laur is found to be willing to be hunged but to give up Christine, he understands, the soft-like man has the greater bravy.

The purchase of love makes the people or the people of weaknemore strong.

The power of love urges us to forget all the frightening to pursuit.

Or we can say, the cruelty of phantom born from the birth of the unforture experience from his childhood, of the personality of his inferiority.

But how can we judge a man’s selfhood? Everyone is growing through the sorrow.

When we are hurt by others, there’s a big possibility we will hurt others as the response.

But in my opinion, the love between Laur and Christine is more likely to be a illusion between the friends in childhood, ma-ki-ng us think it just a delusion when a Cinderella meet with her price.

What’s the further development? It’s on the air.

Why there’s just Laur himself appears in the bidding block at the beginning of the movie? Where’s Christine? 30 years is long time to change the sea into field, has the beautiful girl already sleep in the soil? Has she still remember the phantom of ugly but talent?

Book report on ‘Jane Eyre’

Jane Eyre, one of the most famous works of Charlotte Bronte’s, is an inspiring story about a miserable girl who pursue freedom, independence and true love. The story of the independent minded Jane and her love affair with Mr. Rochester opened up new dimensions for women both as writer and generations of feminists. Jane Eyre, the tough girl, really impresses me very much.

One of Jane’s impressive and admiring personalities is her self-respect. She wasn’t beautiful, and the ordinary appearance didn’t make others feel good of her. And some others even thought that she was easy to look down on and to tease. But as Jane had said: ‘Do you think, because I am poor, obscure, plain, and little, I am soulless and heartless? You think wrong!’ This is the idea of self-respect in Jane Eyre’s mind. God hadn’t given her beauty and wealth, but instead, God gave her a kind mind and a thinking brain. Her idea of self-respect impresses me so much and let me feel the power inside her body.

The other gorgeous personality I value very much is her selfless love. After leaving Thornfield with a broken heart, Jane experienced quite a lot. She refused the proposal of St. John, a handsome priest who helped her a lot when she was starving. Later, Jane inherited a wealth of fortune from her uncle which she shared with her three cousins. But when hearing that Mr. Rochester had lost his eyesight and made his body serious injured while saving his mad wife in a conflagration during which his wife died and all his property was destroyed, Jane returned to Thornfield immediately and devoted her love to Mr. Rochester. What a great decision for her to go back! If I were Jane, I couldn’t promise to get married with Mr. Rochester who is in such a terrible situation. However, Jane did with all her heart!

I like the novel very much, especially the character ‘Jane Eyre’ who is a great woman in my mind. Jane makes me realize the importance of self-respect and understand what the true love is. In this sophisticated society, we may not avoid being contaminated, but we can remind ourselves of Jane Eyre and try to be an independent and strong-minded person who treasures self-esteem and true love.

The novel is rich in poetry, symbolism and metaphor. It does not fit easily into a definite pattern, being neither a novel of “manners” in the tradition of Austen, or a straightforward Gothic Romance in the style of Mrs Radcliffe. What Charlotte Bronte did was to create a work which cleverly blends elements of the two styles, and which remains uniquely independent of them at the same time, since it addresses issues which were at the time rather controversial.

The novel is written in the first person, and thus magnifies the central character - the reader enters the world of Jane Eyre and is transported through her experiences at first hand. This at once makes the work subjective, especially since we know that Charlottes Brontes own life and experiences were so closely interwoven with the heroine's. As well as this we learn only at the end of the novel that the events are being related to us ten years after the reconciliation with Rochester - thus the narrative is RETROSPECTIVE (looking back)。 CB is clever in blending the narrative so that at times Jane seems to be speaking as an adult with adult hindsight , while at others she she is “in the middle” of them, as a child or young woman. The indecision which is a central issue in the book, is heightened by this device. We never know, as readers, whether to be entirely trustful of Janes actions and thoughts, because we are never sure wheher she is speaking impulsively or maturely.

This intensifies the readers dilemma as to what is “right” and “wrong” in the dramatic relationships which are part of JE's life. Can we believe what the heroine says, or is she deceiving herself? The novel is primarily a love story and a “romance” where wishes come true but only after trials and suffering. The supernatural has its place, as do dreams, portents and prophesies. The heroine begins poor and lonely and ends up rich and loved; the orphan finds a good family to replace the wicked one; all the basic ingredients of classic romantic fairytale are present.

The romantic element is present in two forms in Jane Eyre; the “family” aspect is dealt with in the Gateshead, Lowood and Moor House episodes, which involve the exchanging of the wicked Reed family for the benevolent Rivers one; and the Love romance is dealt with in the Thornfield and Ferndean episodes. Both aspects are, of course linked and interwoven throughout the novel.

After reading this outstanding book, I was shocked by Sara, a little girl who suffered such unimaginable pain and tortures, but still had an opposite attitude towards life. What impresses me most is that Sara put on her act of being a princess when she wore thin bottom shoes, wading in the street of London. From my point of view, her spirit of being so strong-minded when she was in hard times is worth admiring.

Truly, every girl is a princess coming into common life. The “princess” I mean is not a princess living in the palace and being regarded as the apple of everyone’s eye. As the matter of fact, the “princess” is at heart. I am in the belief that every ordinary girl in the world can be a princess. The way for a girl to be a princess is quite simple. Just suppose! You can suppose yourself to be a princess, and go about your business confidently without caring how the others would treat you. If you want to have more resemblance to a princess, be more kind and try your best to help the people in need. The most important thing you are supposed to do is that to feel like a real princess at any occasion, ()particularly when you are involved with enormous melancholy. Do not feel the conditions you faced are extremely wretched and attempt to get rid of the feeling of hopelessness and uneasiness. The less you look like a princess, the more you need to feel like a princess at he art.

Every girl can be a princess if she can do all I mentioned, no matter she is rich, beautiful or not. To speak truthfully, I cannot do as well as Sara. However, I will exert myself on being a princess mentally.

Do not feel depressed any more, to be a well-thought-of princess like Sara. You can do it, because Every Girl Can Be A princess.

Ive read this twice. The first time I rushed through it just to find out who was the _victim._ Yeah. Wasnt really surprised about that. Im sure a few people are thinking it was a serious mistake to off our lamented victim, but honestly, I wasnt really enthused at having to slog through this book.

I understand that this is covering the adolescent years of young Mr. Potter, but the whole teenage angst thing came out of nowhere. There shouldve been some hints as far back as _Chamber_ but instead, we have four years of pent-up hormones come flooding out of the page. It is overwhelming at times, a feeling made worse when you realize that there wasnt a big plot; if anything, this was written partially for contract, partially to continue the story (I, personally, could have lived without the whole Hagrid/Grawp subplot, not to mention 50% of Dolores Umbridge, who herself is part pun, part metaphor, yet neither part really does anything but make one groan)。

But one thing to be said, there is growing tension and suspense in the book, which is written and intended--if we remember for a moment and think (perhaps somewhat na-iv-ely)--for young adults and not those of us with seasoned palates. This is why the book deserves a high rating; to me--and to many individuals over the age of, say, 16--this isnt a great novel. But it is an excellent novel for the young adult crowd and anyone who wants a mystery/fantasy/pseudo-thriller with characters who are reaching the genesis of their development. We may not like the person Harry becomes or the browbeating attitude of Umbridge or Rons jealousy rearing its head at odd turns, but it is a realistic portrayal of adolescent confusion and angst, of the tendency for some individuals in todays society to repreinformation and punish anyone who tries to resist the _system._

Yes, this is a heavy-handed statement, but this book is a metaphor as much as it is a fantasy. Remember, the Harry Potter series is desgined as an arc, so we naturally have to have the stage set for the final two books in the saga.

Hardcore Potter fans will enjoy this. Anyone expecting a great epic, however, will be disappointed because of their misconceptions.

Vivid Heroine

——On Sister Carrie

Carrie was such an ordinary rural girl at the beginning of the story. Sitting on the seat of a bus, she couldn’t help feeling exciting at the sight of the metropolis’ spectacle. She was impressed deeply by large crowd on the avenue, the spacious square or tall buildings.

Far more different from other heroines, Carrie was not a plain pure angel like Snow-white, nor was she brave enough to be a heroine of revolutionist or even a reformer, nor was she so clever as to be a successful career woman who start from scratch.

What attracted her most, after her entering this huge metropolis was the incredible fineries, fashion shoes, smart handbags displaying in the shop windows, the jewellerys shining brightly behind the glass. She dreamed that one day, she could wear all of these, jogging gracefully into the most luxurious hotel with focused sights of admiration.

And this was not merely a dream. Because she had large eyes which can earn others’ sympathy, even love. She had wonderful figure which can win others’ hearts. However, anything she got, anywhere she reached, had not come from her ambition. Things happened, and then she accepted. That’s what she had just done — just to accept willingly from the bottom of her heart. She was not at all an evil woman who would give anything for the fortune or fame. However, she would give uo something for a better life when her instinct defeated her intellect.

That was Carrie, a girl had her own desire, a human being just like many others in the realistic world.

There’s one sentence written in chapter VIII:” When this jangle of free-will instinct shall have been adjusted, when perfect understanding has given the former the power to replace the latter entirely, man will no longer vary.” However, how many people can go that further.

And I want to quote another sentence to wind up my essay:

“In Carrie — as in how many of our wordings do they not? — instinct and reason, desire and understanding, were at war for the mastery.”

The essence of the path is that it is contrary to the highway and has no definite destination. But this does not mean that it does not lead to any direction. It does not mean that all walks of life will be lost in all cases. On the contrary. The stroll I mentioned earlier is an exploration, a slow discovery, the only way to really know mountains. In other words, fictions in the form of variation are not closely connected to each other and the feature of “music fragments” is the only way to stealth the various parts of the novel and to limit the true meaning of the theme, and to respect their coherent forms and rhythms. Of course, at the end of all the paths or paths that make us all over the mountains - they make up a broader view, and some of the pictures are more direct and more intense.

In the immortality, the theme of the pastoral song appears once again in the work, but it is worth noting that the theme is quite different from the previous one. First, the political Utopia of the positive idyllic pastoral means and the image of the utopian Utopian no longer have the same complete tendencies; it continues to exist in Paul's thinking, through his memory of the 1968 “May storm”, but this is a dead reference, and we can even say that it is a positive idyllic. The corpse of the pastoral song. Here, we are completely in the world after ideology, which transcends history.

We have been away from the desert pursued by Yang wick and Thomas. To “return” to self is no longer to escape to the peace and edge that can be released to self, no longer to leave the stage, away from the crowd, to avoid the harm of the crowd to us; to return to self should come to the market and display me in all eyes. Because it is a world of pastoral pastoral, in the final analysis, the modern self world is still a totalitarian world - in a sense, even more harmful than the other types of pastoral songs, because there is no foundation outside the world, and no one can do it for itself. The inevitability of “transcendence”. This is a totalitarian power at the end of history.

Kundla's writing style and language expression are still worth learning. Forget the philosopher saying that life is philosophy. There is a reasonable existence. Then everyone exists, which means that its philosophy is reasonable, each person has its own way of life and way of thinking, and according to these modes of thinking to live, is the individual's own philosophy. Every character in Kundla's pen is a different philosophy. The name of each chapter metaphores a theme of thinking. “Face” means self. “Immortality” means fame and fame. “Struggle” means Agnes and Luo, “emotional man” means perceptual, “chance” is associated with “bell”, “celebration” is the most. The end of the end? I can't be sure to say it is, and it would be a different idea to read later, but the same thing is that Kundla has always led the reader into thinking, no answer.
