【摘 要】为了和世界接轨，英语成为了我国的第二语言，学生都要学习英语，好多学生学习英语的一个重要目的是为了考试，往往忽略了语言最基本的功能。英语作为一门语言，它最基本的功能就是在交际中用来表达我们的思想和感情。培养学生的英语口语和交际能力是我们高中英语教学环节中的重要任务之一。那我们又应如何来提高学生的英语口语表达能力？在实际教学过程中又会遇到哪些问题，如何去解决？

学习英语，分为“听”“说”“读”“写”四个部分。以实用学的角度来看，日常我们用的最多的就是说，其中培养中学生说英语的习惯就尤为重要。虽然随着新课改的逐步实施学生越来越重视英语的口头表达能力，但还远远不够。在我们的实际教学和学生的学习中还存在着很多问题，这都是需要我们去解决的。

一、高中英语口语教学的现状及问题

1、学生缺乏兴趣。许多学生没有养成良好的学习习惯，课堂上羞于开口，课下懒于与同学训练，学的是“哑巴英语”，死记硬背，不了解知识的内在联系，学到的知识是零散的，从而造成理解能力差，更谈不上在学习中、实践中去应用。有些学生不善表达，性格腼腆，课堂上常受同学的嘲笑和老师的批评，自尊心受到伤害，从而产生自卫意识和自卑心理等，学习上得不到老师和同学的帮助，成绩自然上不去。面对家庭、老师、同学等方面的多方面的压力，渐渐失去了学习的动力和兴趣。

2、受传统教学模式的禁锢。许多教师能熟练的再现课堂的知识点，有效的控制和组织课堂活动，但仍受应试教育的影响，对口语教学不够重视或缺乏必要的口语教学方法。在多数课堂上，教师忽略了对学生英语口语能力的培养，口语环节相对薄弱。这就导致了学生在以后的学习和生活中很难开口用英语表达自己的思想，因此学生缺乏自信，学生口语表达的热情大大受挫，相当一部分学生对开口说英语存在恐惧心理。还有很大一部分老师上课用汉语教学，这样学生在课堂上既没有语言环境又失去了口语教学的意义。

3、英语基础薄弱，缺乏词汇量。由于各地区英语师资力量的不均衡，导致好多学生英语基础薄弱，词汇量少，制约了口语水平的提高。词汇是构成语言的基本元素，离开词汇一切语言表达就失去了实际意义。大部分学生因积累的词汇量非常有限，很大程度上制约了他们英语口语水平的提高。

4、缺少真实英语语言环境。英语是一门语言，语言源自于生活。我国学生大部分都只是在英语课堂上偶尔使用点英语口语，因此缺少锻炼英语口语所需的环境和机会。除此之外，学生很少在其他场合下使用英语进行交流，这样就导致学生个体参与口语训练的机会很少。

二、提高高中学生英语口语能力的对策

1、激发学生练习口语的兴趣

首先，课堂是学生学习语言的主要渠道，教师应以满腔的热情，采取新颖、灵活、多样的教学方法和手段，营造轻松愉快的课堂气氛，使每个学生敢于开口、乐于开口。老师还应尽量多的创设形象生动且典型的情境，让学生感受到开口说英语的必要，而一旦学生开口说了，就应多表扬，多激励，这对初学者来说尤其重要。在课堂中，老师的一个微笑，一句鼓励，如：Ver Gd！Wnderful！Well dne！ 等都会给学生带来莫大的鼓励。老师不必因为学生出现了某个拼写或语法错误而打断他。当他畅所欲言得到表扬之后，再在适当场合，如课后或是在做书面练习中提示其错误之处，这样学生便有了外语学习的自信心，有动力去克服困难，完成学习任务，充分发挥自己的学习潜力。

其次，老师上课时要增强语言感染力。说话时眉飞色舞、慷慨激昂，会大大增加语言的生动性和感染力，带动学生参与进来。要求学生也能像教师一样在说话时带手势、动作、表情，这不仅可以活跃课堂气氛、提高学习兴趣，而且能加深印象，帮助他们记忆。教师自然地使用英语，面带笑容，和蔼可亲，这都能使学生感受到学习英语的轻松和乐趣，这样教师轻松地教，学生愉快地学，就会起到意想不到的效果。

2、用英语组织日常教学

教师首先要有精湛的专业水平和流畅的口语表达能力，在课堂教学活动中，尽量用英语组织教学，控制汉语的使用。教师用英语授课，有利于提高学生的听说水平，有利于向学生提供英语表达的示范，也有利于学生口头模仿。刚开始，学生肯定不习惯，也不太能懂，教师可以借助实物、图片、手势、表情等手段来帮助学生理解，关键是教师一定要坚持说英语。久而久之，学生就会提高听音能力和理解能力。听力提高了，口语表达就有了基础，这样学生运用英语的实际能力必将有所提高。

3、扩大学生的口语“词汇”

要想学生口语表达能力提高，解决“词汇”量是关键。除了多读、多记英语词汇之外，在掌握句型的基础上扩大词汇才更有意义。在扩大词汇方面，需要记一些常用词、急用词。按使用频率、使用范围，大约5000左右的词汇就足以进行日常口语交流了。口语体不同于书面体，口语体中所常用的词汇，大都拼写简单，发音流畅，多是小词、简单词、常用词。有一些&qut;万能词&qut;，像have ，get ，g，tae， d 等，这些词在口语中的用法非常活跃，表达生动活泼，简明扼要，内涵异常丰富。掌握十来个这类词，就能套用各种句型，较轻松地进行口语交流了。因此，教师要尽量用一些小词、短句和教过的英语教英语、解释难句和课文意思，学生就能听得更清楚，理解得更准确，这样学生在日常交际中就能用英语更容易、更流畅地表达自己的意思。

4、设置合理的口语交流情境

要想让学生说开口说英语，首先应该让学生置身于一个真实的语言环境中去创造，增长知识，而不是机械的模仿甚至背诵。这样就能培养学生使用英语进行交际的能力。高中学生能思考，有丰富的想象力和一定的生活经历，并且英语有一定基础，有一定的语言知识可以进行交流。根据这一情况，教师选择一些大家认为重要的、有趣的和新颖的话题让学生交流。小到家庭、学校，大到国内、国际。可以自编，也可以从学生中收集；形式可以是表演、朗读，也可以是讲故事、新闻采访等。做到人人有话题可讲，其他同学也可以进行评论、提问等。同时教师要善于设计新颖别致、并能唤起学生共鸣的问题。让学生在独立思考的基础上，再进行集体讨论，集思广益。也可以用所教的知识，让学生自由地求异发散，阐述自己的看法，观点。让学生根据课文编一些与课文有关的小对话，这样学生就可以以课文为背景充分发挥想象力。既能激发学生学英语的兴趣，又使学生学到了应学的知识，获得了技能，学会了交际，使学生尝到了成功的体验，从而增强了自信心，学生就更愿意说英语了。

5、开展有趣的英语口语课外活动

实习的第一天是开会布置任务，全系88号人早已据安排被分为九组，每组九到十人，老师把每组排在第一个的同学定为组长，而我有幸成为第二大组的组长。当天我们组就确定了小组分组和情境与主题的选定，但随着任务及实习计划的不断变动，我们组最终将情景确定为At school 和 In a market,主题选定为Family，friendship and love, which is the most important? 也确定好了内部分组。材料的准备并不难，倒是要在短时间内既要注意发音，还要与搭档配合得体，这点才是难点。通过13号的情景对话、主题讨论的表演考察以及14号的口语测试，我发现自己的口语着实存在以下三大问题：一、发音不到位，单词发音能准确到位，但到了句子、段落、篇章时，就难以注意到个别单词的发音，并且对重音概念不清;二、语调不明显，从嘴里吐出来的英文大多都很平淡，没有多大的语调差别，从而听起来缺乏感情、激情，感觉生硬;三、自信不足，正因为如此，才很少开口说英语，在众人面前说英语会紧张，表现得不自然。

实习已结束，不管结果怎样，但重要的是过程，我不仅更加明白自己的口语所存在的问题，而且也懂得了英语口语在日常生活运用的重要性。
