午后两点左右，我们坐上18路公交车汽车驶过一段乡间小路，很快就到衡水湖。

我远远的望去，看到无边无际的水，码头边停泊着几条小船。

我们交两份门票，穿上救生衣，坐上飞机模样的船，妈妈解开绳，拿起竹竿一拨，船缓缓的动向湖中心移去。我把手伸出船外，触摸一下水面，手冰凉冰凉的，我又赶忙把手缩回来。我们离码头越来越远，岸边停泊的船变小，像一只蚂蚁，最后消失不见。

船慢慢靠近荷花池，我看到一大片一大片的荷叶，荷叶之间夹着几朵荷花。在一片又绿又圆的荷叶上，有一只青蛙，露着雪白的肚皮，鼓着大大的眼睛，呱呱的叫着，正在演奏一首交响曲。荷花三五成群地紧靠着荷叶，荷花很香，上面有许多蜻蜓在盘旋，成千上万只蝴蝶在花中飞舞，红的、绿得、大的、小的……到处都是蝴蝶，到处都是蜻蜓。看到这只，又错过那只，看清楚这只，另一只又飞进花丛中，我应接不暇。为节省时间，我们很快地离开的荷花池向后驶去。

在回去的路上，我们看到几只鸭子，一只鸭妈妈和三只小鸭子。鸭妈妈突然沉入水中，抬起来的时候，鸭妈妈嘴里叼着三条小鱼，给它的几只小鸭子。

不知不觉的，我们回到岸上。这时，飞来一只燕子，它轻轻的掠过湖面，尾巴偶尔沾一下水面，就看到波纹一圈圈地向外扩散。

我爱美丽的衡水湖，更爱那出淤泥而不染的荷花。

在苇塘里生活着许许多多的鸟，有的还是国家的一、二级保护鸟类，所以这里又叫“鸟区”。船行了一阵，发现鸟也多了起来。有的象老鹰那么大；有的又象麻雀那么小；有的全身都是灰白色的，有的身上披着鲜艳的羽毛。

沿着船道走了一阵，我们发现了一窝鸟蛋，浅绿色的蛋壳，看上去比鸡蛋小一点。听说这里有很多鸟蛋，但船夫们、游客们从来不拿，可见人们的环保意识越来越强了。

Water  is very important to us. If you don’t have water for three days, you will die.  We can use water for flowers, swimming, washing and many different things. We  use it to cook, make electricity, and put out fires and so on. We use millions  of liters of water every day.

Do  you know how does the water come to your home? It travels through water pipes.  Some are long and wide but some are short and narrow. Then the water travels  through the water pipes to the reservoirs. Then it travels through the water  pipes to the river and to the special factories that purify the water. When the  water is purified, we can drink it. Please don’t leave garbage in the water on  which we line, and keep the water clean.

水对我们很重要。如果你三天没有水，你会死的。我们可以用水浇花，游泳，洗涤和许多不同的东西。我们用它做饭，发电，和扑灭火灾等。我们每天都使用数百万公升的水。

衡水湖，像一颗璀璨的明珠，镶嵌在古老的华北平原东南部。这里便是生我养我的家乡，养育着世代生活在这里朴实勤劳的衡水人民。

春天来了，漫步湖侧小径，或驻足远眺：垂柳初绿，草长莺飞，晨露朝晖，轻舟泛水，小鸭蹒跚，湖畔人痴醉。微风拂动着清澈的水面，叽喳的鸟儿呼唤着飞远的同伴。沉睡了一冬的衡水湖静静的苏醒着，跟随春姐姐的脚步慢慢的复苏了。

夏天来了，湖里荷香流动碧叶连天，苇荡随风起伏抑扬，草芳花香，粉蝶曼舞，风清日暧，小燕蹁跹。湖边浅滩上欢快着戏水的人，湖底鱼肥虾美水草丛生，和谐的大自然一片生机盎然欣欣向荣。衡水湖的夏天是我最爱的季节，天蓝水绿尽在眼底，仿佛一抹水墨丹青，又仿佛人间仙境。

秋天到了，岸边蝶儿眷恋着花红，虫鸣阵阵打扰着秋的宁静。湖面秋风卷起层层细浪，好像道道白雪，又好像浪底游动着蛟龙。柳绦婆娑，炊烟袅袅，鱼戏悠悠，莺歌呖呖。清风沐浴着晚霞，船桨醉斜了舟影。我沉醉在这如诗的画卷之中，久久不愿回到喧嚣的闹市里，好似在梦中不想醒来。

冬天到了，我又喜欢衡水湖的静，不见了如织的游人，少了匆匆的莺燕。一树黄叶终于不再坚忍，投入冬的怀抱，整个世界也好像闭上了眼睛，这是一种萧瑟的美。深冬的的冰面安逸静谧，还有那漫天的飞雪将湖与天地连成一体，湖岸的杨柳千树银花，那银装素裹的天地如虚幻似梦中。请不要去埋 怨 风雪凋谢了百花，那是上天带给我们别样的美丽。
