Many people sim* regard Pride and Prejudice as a love story, but in my opinion, this book is an illustration of the society at that time. She perfectly reflected the relation between money and marriage at her time and gave the people in her works vivid characters. The characters have their own personalities. Mrs. Bennet is a woman who makes great efforts to marry off her daughters. Mr. Bingley is a friendly young man, but his friend, Mr. Darcy, is a very proud man who seems to always feel superior. Even the five daughters in Bennet family are very different. Jane is simple, innocent and never speaks evil of others. Elizabeth is a clever girl who always has her own opinion. Mary likes reading classic books. (Actually she is a pedant.) Kitty doesn\'t have her own opinion but likes to follow her sister, Lydia. Lydia is a girl who follows exotic things, handsome man, and is somehow a little profligate. When I read the book, I can always find the same personalities in the society now. That is why I think this book is indeed the representative of the society in Britain in the 18th century.

The family of gentleman in the countryside is Jane Austen\'s favourite topic. But this little topic can reflect big problems. It concludes the stratum situation and economic relationships in Britain in her century. You can find these from the very beginning of this book.

The first sentence in this book is impressive. It reads: “It is a truth well known to all the world that an unmarried man in possession of a large fortune must be in need of a wife”。 The undertone is very clear: the foundation of the marriage at that time is not emotion but possession.

People always think that Austen was an expert at telling love stories. In fact, the marriage in her book is not the result of love, but the result of economic needs. After reading this book, I know the truth is that a poor woman must be in need of a husband, a wealthy man.

I couldn\'t forget how eager Mrs. Bennet wants to marry off her daughters. If you want to know why she is so crazy about these things, I must mention the situation in Britain at that time. Only the eldest son had the privilege of inheriting his father\'s possessions. Younger sons and daughters who are used to luxurious lives have no choice but marry a man or woman in possession of a large fortune to continue their comfortable lives. Thus, we can see that getting married is a way to become wealthier, particularly for women without many possessions. Jane Austen told us that money and possession determined everything, including marriage and love in her century.

In “Pride and Prejudice”, the sister of Mr. Bingley strongly opposed his plan of marrying Jane because the Bennets don\'t have many possessions and their social positions are much lower than them. From this, we can see there are a lot of obstacles for a not very rich woman to marry a wealthy husband. The society, the relatives would not allow them to get married.

In modern society, although the marriages of economic needs have decreased rapidly, the concept of “money determines everything” is still rooted in some people\'s mind. A lot of parents try hard to interfere their children\'s marriages. Education background, possessions, jobs remains the main reason that may influence one\'s marriage. Marry for money is still a big problem in our society. We can\'t help thinking: can money determine everything?

Austen left this problem for us to think. The genius of Jane Austen lies in this perfect simplicity, the simplicity that reflects big problems. Although Austen was only 21 when she wrote “Pride and Prejudice”, her sharp observation of social lives makes the style of this book surprisingly mature and lively. The plots in her works are always very natural. The development of the plot is as inevitable as a problem in mathematics. I think the depth of Pride and Prejudice is the reason that makes this book prominent and classic. Today, her book still can be the guide telling us the economic relationships both at her time and in modern time.

Pride and Prejudice is my favorite novel, which impresses me for a long time. It describes a love story mainly between Elisabeth, who I like the best, and a rich and proud man, Darcy.

The story began with the arrival of a crowd of rich men who rent a house near the Bennet. In a ball, Elisabeth gave such a bad impression on Darcys first pride that she refused Darcys first proposal. Darcy was so surprised by Elisabeths refusal that he loved Elisabeth more dee*. And Elisabeths antipathy( 厌恶,憎恨 ) made Darcy realize his shortcomings. He was not angry about Elisabeths censure, but also he changed his previous proud attitude. During Elisabeths travel in Darcys manor (庄园) . Darcy was very nice to her uncle and aunt, different from previous proud attitude. When one of Elisabeths sisters ran away with Wickham, Darcy helped Elisabeth find her sister and prevent her sister from the loss of reputation, with nobody knowing that it was he who helped the Bennet. So many changes in Darcy eliminated (消除) Elisabeths prejudice. At last it end with their marriage.

Taking the daily life as its material, this story reflected the life and love in a conservative 你(保守派) and blocking England town. It reflected the authors view about marriage that it is fault to marry for property, money and status and it is also foolish to take these elements into account. In fact Darcys pride manifested (证明) the gap (间隙,差距) between their statuses (地位) . Since his pride existed, there is no ideal marriage between Elisabeth and Darcy. From the different attitudes from Darcys two proposals, it reflected the feminine (女性) pursuit of personality independence and right equality, which is a progressive (先进的) character from the image of Elisabeth.

As is known to all, Pride and Prejudice which was written by a famous English female writer Jane Austen is still a classic in English literature nowadays. Jane Austen who was born and lived her whole life in England wrote six books in her life time.

Her novels all described the lifestyle and social communications of families in the countries of England as what she is familiar with. The book Pride and Prejudice is the typical one that fully expressed Jane’s view on marriage and emphasized that the benefit on economic exerts a great influence on marriage.

The characters in the novel all had their own opinions on marriage. Mrs. Bennet, for instance, has only one aim-that of finding a good match for each of her five daughters.

As for Elizabeth, who is the second daughter in the Bennet family said that only deep love would persuade her to marry which was why she would probably end up an old maid. Lydia and Charlotte, however, were two extremes. The former just married for sex, while the latter married for a comfortable home and protection.

There are just so many different characters that were all formed under the society of England in 18’s century. Then, there was filled with unfairness between men and women. Just as what Jane Austen said,”It is a truth universally knowledge, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife. ”

Last week, I read a book about how the successful persons started their career and succeeded. They met a lot of difficulties and problems, such as lacking of money & experience and arguing with their co-workers, but they did not afraid of restarting again. They are unbeatable, so they succeeded eventually. This book impresses me deeply. Besides, from their stories, I learn that I should never give up to achieve my dreams no matter what happens.

^v^Pride and prejudice^v^ by austen, as she herself says, is a fine carving of two inches of ivory, the masterpiece of austen. The marriage issue is one of the most popular novels in the author\'s work, and is her own favorite. The work vividly reflects the life and the world of English towns in the conservative and closed state of the 18th and early 19th centuries. Its socialized novels not only attract readers, but still give readers a unique artistic enjoyment. She was the first novelist to realistically describe everyday ordinary life.

There is no tortuous vigour, there is no twists and turns, but it is this simple fact that has fascinated us so far. Austen\'s brief life was spent almost entirely in the English countryside, perhaps by the simplicity of her surroundings, and the tranquil atmosphere that gave birth to her indifferent temperament. Not because there is no abundant experience, for the analysis of things for her ability to doubt, people read < pride and prejudice > will be convinced by her delicate and sensitive emotions. Is it not a gift to be a teenager when pride and prejudice > are written? She does rarely touch the outside world, but the idea exists, the imagination exists, and the existence of it is enough.

Mary likes reading classic books. (Actually she is a pedant.) Kitty doesnt have her own opinion but likes to follow her sister, Lydia. Lydia is a girl who follows exotic things, handsome man, and is somehow a little profligate. When I read the book, I can always find the same personalities in the society now. That is why I think this book is indeed the representative of the society in Britain in the 18th century

The family of gentleman in the countryside is Jane Austens favourite topic. But this little topic can reflect big problems. It concludes the stratum situation and economic relationships in Britain in her century. You can find these from the very beginning of this book.

The first sentence in this book is impressive. It reads: “It is a truth well known to all the world that an unmarried man in possession of a large fortune must be in need of a wife”. The undertone is very clear: the foundation of the marriage at that time is not emotion but possession.

People always think that Austen was an expert at telling love stories. In fact, the marriage in her book is not the result of love, but the result of economic needs. After reading this book, I know the truth is that a poor woman must be in need of a husband, a wealthy man.

I couldnt forget how eager Mrs. Bennet wants to marry off her daughters. If you want to know why she is so crazy about these things, I must mention the situation in Britain at that time. Only the eldest son had the privilege of inheriting his fathers possessions.

Bingley strongly opposed his plan of marrying Jane because the Bennets dont have many possessions and their social positions are much lower than them. From this, we can see there are a lot of obstacles for a not very rich woman to marry a wealthy husband. The society, the relatives would not allow them to get married.

In modern society, although the marriages of economic needs have decreased rapidly, the concept of “money determines everything” is still rooted in some peoples mind. A lot of parents try hard to interfere their childrens marriages. Education background, possessions, jobs remains the main reason that may influence ones marriage. Marry for money is still a big problem in our society. We cant help thinking: can money determine everything?

Austen left this problem for us to think. The genius of Jane Austen lies in this perfect simplicity, the simplicity that reflects big problems. Although Austen was only 21 when she wrote “Pride and Prejudice”, her sharp observation of social lives makes the style of this book surprisingly mature and lively. The plots in her works are always very natural. The development of the plot is as inevitable as a problem in mathematics. I think the depth of Pride and Prejudice is the reason that makes this book prominent and classic. Today, her book still can be the guide telling us the economic relationships both at her time and in modern time.

Chinese people are now face to a serious problem--pollution. And this problem is a little bit different from others--the goverment can not solve it by themselves. We need everyone to protect our environment.

But we also know that it is very hard to call everyone to join us to protect the environment. But it seems that they have found the way to let everybody know it. In a report, Anhui Daily called on residents to help protect the river against pollution. I am so glad about it. And i believe that somewhere the pollution must stop.

There is no doubt that Pride and Prejudice is well-known, the book that iswritten by Jane Austen has an influence on the far as I’m concerned, the ending of the fiction is wonderful, Elizabeth and Darcy won theirhappiness, leading a colourful life .

First of all, let’s learn about the author who is Jane Austen .She wasunmarried all her life. She was born in a mid-class family and was brought up ina fortable environment with harmonious surroundings, so there’s not too manyconflicts in her sight neither in her novel. In Pride and Prejudice she talkeddifferent ideas about love and marriage through different characters.

Jane Austen disclosed mid-class young ladies’ different ideas of marriageand love through describing the different ways in which the Bennet girls doingwith their marriage problems, and this undoubtedly shows the writer’s idea aboutlove and marriage: it’s wrong to get married just for property, wealth andstatus while neither would it be without caring about those Austenjust attached great significance to marriage through hernovel by telling people that marriage should be regardedcarefully.

Then, let’s get close to details is that Mr. Bennet is an Englishgentleman with an estate in Hertfordshire. He has five unmarried daughters butno sons while his inheritance must be inherited by a male, so Mrs. Bennet hasbeen keen to seek husband for her daughters with great enthusiasm.

One day the Bennets had a new neighbor called Bingley who was a wealthybachelor and followed be the target of Mrs. Bennet. At a ball Bingley fell inlove with Jane Bennet who’s the oldest daughter of the Bennets. Bingley’s friendDarcy also came to the ball and struck the sights, many girls liked him while hethought all of them couldn’t suit his preference, including Elizabeth. Mr. Darcyalways shows others a impression of pride, having found this Elizabeth began tohate Mr. Darcy.

Before long Darcy fell in love with Elizabeth Bennett because of her lovelybehavior, while Elizabeth is disgusted by his pride and has a prejudice abouthim. The official Wickham was weled by the villagers, and Elizabeth also took ashine to him. Wickham told someting about darcy, which increased Eli’s prejudiceabout Mr. Darcy. At another ball Mr. Darcy invited Elizabeth to dance with him, but Eli refusedhim. Eli’s elder male cousin Mr. Collin came to Hertfordshire to inherit theBennetts property by rules, he wanted to marry with one of the Bennets. Havingknown that Jane was already engaged with Mr. Bingley, he asked Elizabeth tomarry him but was seriously rejected. At last he proposed to Charllote who wasEli’s friend.

Mr. Collins was good at flattering and he got the pastorate with the helpof Lady Catherine. Once his family was invited to Rosings Garden by LadyCatherine. Elizabeth also went there with Mr. Collin and Charllote. There shemet Mr. Darcy who’s Lady Catherine’s Mr. Darcy came to the Collins’and confessed his love for Elizabeth, of course he was rejected impolitely.

Afterwards Mr. Darcy wrote a letter to Eli in order to remove of him. Elizabeth’s uncle and aunt were also impressed by ’s politeness. Gradually Eli’s prejudice of Mr. Darcy they became couple.

In my opinion ,on the one hand,I think Elizabeth has personality ethicwhich caused her independent idea about love and marriage and in consequence sheearned a happy life. There’re also Eli’s sisters’ love stories served as contrasts to thefemale subject’s ideal marriage, such as Charlotte and Collin’s life: they dohad a luxury life, but there’s no real love between them and this kind ofmarriage is surely a tragedy of the other hand,Darcy is brave ,he diddo his best to pursuit his love.

As a matter of fact, everyone has shortings ,after reading the story ,I didrealize that we should find our advantages and disadvantages ,it’s necessary for us to try our best to get over aware that we ought to get along with others with the same rightthat seeking for happiness is equal for ,we should value thethings that we have, and cherish the chances.

Pride and Prejudice is my favorite novel, which impresses me for a long time. It describes a love story mainly between Elisabeth, who I like the best, and a rich and proud man, Darcy.

The story began with the arrival of a crowd of rich men who rent a house near the Bennet. In a ball, Elisabeth gave such a bad impression on Darcy’s first pride that she refused Darcy’s first proposal. Darcy was so surprised by Elisabeth’s refusal that he loved Elisabeth more deeply. And Elisabeth’s antipathy made Darcy realize his shortcomings. He was not angry about Elisabeth’s censure, but also he changed his previous proud attitude. During Elisabeth’s travel in Darcy’s manor. Darcy was very nice to her uncle and aunt, different from previous proud attitude. When one of Elisabeth’s sisters ran away with Wickham, Darcy helped Elisabeth find her sister and prevent her sister from the loss of reputation, with nobody knowing that it was he who helped the Bennet. So many changes in Darcy eliminated Elisabeth’s prejudice. At last it end with their marriage.

Taking the daily life as its material, this story reflected the life and love in a conservative and blocking England town. It reflected the author’s view about marriage that it is fault to marry for property, money and status and it is also foolish to take these elements into account. In fact Darcy’s pride manifested the gap between their statuses. Since his pride existed, there is no ideal marriage between Elisabeth and Darcy. From the different attitudes from Darcy’s two proposals, it reflected the feminine pursuit of personality independence and right equality, which is a progressive character from the image of Elizabeth.

in late-18th-century england, women were relegated to secondary roles in society with respect to property and social responsibilities. for example, women were not permitted to visit new arrivals to the neighbourhood (such as mr. bingley in pride and prejudice) until the male head of their household had first done so. women were under enormous pressure to marry for the purpose of securing their financial futures and making valuable social connections for their families. therefore, marriage, though romanticised, was in many ways a financial transaction and social alliance rather than a matter of love. although jane austen did not condone loveless marriages (she stayed single all her life), she did approve of matches having equality in various respects, including wealth, social status, love and character. in pride and prejudice, wealth, social status, chastity (and the perception of chastity) and physical attractiveness are depicted as factors affecting a woman#39;s chances for a good m

It is universally acknowledged that the eternal theme of Jane Austen’s novels is the choice people make for marriage partners, so is in Pride and Prejudice. Mrs. Bonnet had no other wish if her five daughters could get married as soon as possible with someone wealthy. At a dancing ball, it is obvious that Mr. Bingley could not help falling in love at the first sight with Miss Jane because of her stunning beauty. Mrs. Benne was so excited that she could not hold her manner and declared publicly she would ha一ve a daughter married soon, which frightened Mr. Bingley away. Mr. Collins, a distance nephew of Mr. Bennet, came to ask a marriage to one of his cousins before Mrs. Bennet was able to get clear why Mr. Bingley left suddenly. After receiving the hint from Mrs. Bennet that Jane already had an admirer, Mr. Collins turned to Elizabeth without wasting a minute and to Miss Charlotte Lucas two days later after refused by Elizabeth. It was difficult for Mrs. Bennet to recover herself as a result of the“deadly stupid” decision made by Elizabeth until she got the news that Lydia finally married Mr. Wickham, though the marriage was built on the basis of ten thousand pounds. Mr. Darcy offered the money and did everything departing from his will just because he loved Elizabeth so much. He could not hide his feelings any more and showed his affection to Elizabeth at last, who, because of a series of misunderstandings towards him, rejected him without hesitation. This plot is the climax of the novel as the prejudice of Elizabeth to Mr. Darcy was exposed and removed since then. And the combination of the two young couples, Jane and Bingley, Elizabeth and Darcy came at last.

永远永远地会记得这本书,伊丽莎白还有达西,更忘不掉那段让我沉吟至今的话语:“My affections and wishes have not change……you have bewitched me,body and soul, and I love…I love…I love you。 。 I never wish to be parted from you from this day on。”

Pride and Prejudice is the work of Jane Austen, a British woman writer. The scope of this work is only three or four families in a village, with Elizabeth as the main character. The main plot is nothing more than the chat about marriage and property in the front of the fireplace and in the meeting of relatives and friends, the bee chase and butterfly chase in the market, church, dance, banquet and other occasions, and the love talk.

The arrogance of Darcy and the prejudice of the *e all have obvious class attribute. Their frustrations in love are not due to their accidental misunderstanding, but because there is an inevitable gap between the two sides in different class status. Elizabeth, as a middle-class common girl, only by virtue of the charm of her personality and her excellent quality, won the fame and fortune of the noble young master, and finally became a good couple with her. This is another copy of Cinderellas story.

The same is true in life. Only by putting down the arrogant attitude, throwing away the prejudiced vision, treating with empathy, and understanding each other through communication, can we know each other. Like Mr. Darcy in the book, although the appearance gives the impression of arrogance, arrogance and superciliousness. But the heart is kind and sincere and willing to let go, its attitude of not stubborn is really appreciated.

(Actually she is a pedant.) Kitty doesn’t have her own opinion but likes to follow her sister, Lydia. Lydia is a girl who follows exotic things, handsome man, and is somehow a little profligate. When I read the book, I can always find the same personalities in the society now. That is why I think this book is indeed the representative of the society in Britain in the 18th century.

The family of gentleman in the countryside is Jane Austen’s favourite topic. But this little topic can reflect big problems. It concludes the stratum situation and economic relationships in Britain in her century. You can find these from the very beginning of this book.

Many people simply regard Pride and Prejudice as a love story, but in my opinion, this book is an illustration of the society at that time.

I couldn’t forget how eager Mrs. Bennet wants to marry off her daughters. If you want to know why she is so crazy about these things, I must mention the situation in Britain at that time. Only the eldest son had the privilege of inheriting his father’s possessions.

Bingley strongly opposed his plan of marrying Jane because the Bennets don’t have many possessions and their social positions are much lower than them. From this, we can see there are a lot of obstacles for a not very rich woman to marry a wealthy husband. The society, the relatives would not allow them to get married.

In modern society, although the marriages of economic needs have decreased rapidly, the concept of “money determines everything” is still rooted in some people’s mind. A lot of parents try hard to interfere their children’s marriages. Education background, possessions, jobs remains the main reason that may influence one’s marriage. Marry for money is still a big problem in our society. We can’t help thinking: can money determine everything?

I couldn’t forget how eager Mrs. Bennet wants to marry off her daughters. If you want to know why she is so crazy about these things, I must mention the situation in Britain at that time. Only the eldest son had the privilege of inheriting his father’s possessions.

Austen left this problem for us to think. The genius of Jane Austen lies in this perfect simplicity, the simplicity that reflects big problems. Although Austen was only 21 when she wrote “Pride and Prejudice”, her sharp observation of social lives makes the style of this book surprisingly mature and lively. The plots in her works are always very natural. The development of the plot is as inevitable as a problem in mathematics. I think the depth of Pride and Prejudice is the reason that makes this book prominent and classic. Today, her book still can be the guide telling us the economic relationships both at her time and in modern time.

Recently I read the necklace Maupassant after reading the king of short stories Maupassant wrote ^v^the necklace^v^, I am filled with emotion.

The article is about a vain woman because she could not afford to buy a expensive necklace, so she borrowed it and lost it at the party. She bought a real necklace and gave it back to her friend. From then on, she was in debt. It was, conceivably, the punishment of heaven upon her.

We in daily life, do not be vain, haggle over every ounce, natural beauty is really beautiful, spiritual beauty is more important than everything. We just have to be ourselves, our most authentic selves.

LoveTypes

My understanding and half-finish of the book Pride and Prejudice, its movie helps me a great a clear idea about each person?ˉs emotions?¢feelings and traits, I fully understand it, which I find completely neceary to speak highly of as an exceeding affecting love story, though sadne(Elizabeth, with whose head the detestation towards who appears to be highly proud ?¢superior and conceited at everyone?ˉs first sight, filled at their first meet in the ball) spreads as soon as the story begins, a happy end, turn out to be at length.

This well-known to every family story, which is about love between a beautiful young lady and a handsome young gentleman., written by Jane former lives in countryside with four other sisters brought up in family without even a tutor, while the latter raised in strict ?¢traditional rules, inculcated with polite breeding and earns ten thousand pounds per year.

At then circumstance, in which fierce well-matched marriage value was still deeply rooted in every member?ˉs poibility of their love leads them to marriage appears to be out of : the disinclinations, which Elizabeth has nothing except ,towards after in the ball her ask to dance with him sooner places she the trust in Officer Wickham?ˉs malicious prejudice against him, besides increasing the detestation, she is even so a little bit fond of Wickham that she can?ˉt prevent herself from looking for him in the ball held in Netherfield where ˉs friend- lives, and disappointment swelled after finding his this, the impoibility of Elizabeth?ˉs marry Darcy seems to be months later, she happens to overhear it?ˉs separated from Jane, her eldest sister, the hatred increases sharply to the , one of her sisters Lydia elopes with Wickham, who secretly ask her father for a huge amount of event confirms Wickham?ˉs dark character which has been mentioned in ˉs explanation letter given to seems to melt slowly; Elizabeth seems to begin to trust him a another good news later to be is that she accidentally learns the it was again shoulder the whole cost of Lydia?ˉs wedding with spills the beans when she lost herself in moment on hearing this, she is greatly shocked, then highly touched, finding she has wronged?? all the way, hearty saying with tears in eyes to her father when facing ˉs proposal ?°I do, I do like love he has no improper is perfectly amiable?± .The ice hitherto entirely melts which always stands before a hearty end, everybody seems to know, they living in forever felicity, just as kinds of person I consider there are in this book, according

to attitude towards archetype , which can be applied to even now, comes from and goes back to allude to the relevant social first one is as fine model, who took the advantage of his poeion of ˉs house to propose to Elizabeth, then refused, but ridiculously thinks her repeated refusal is usual with young ladies to reject the addrees of man whom they secretly meant to , he hopelely marries Charlottle, Elizabeth?ˉs kind is self-conceited?¢proud?¢unauming and ignorant, similar to those who consider everyone would marry money, and treat love as trade, or just intent to find a life-long companion instead of a life-long lover, when they being at marry word: They follow their age, not feeling from the bottom of heart.

The second is Lydia as good example, similar to those who always take a shine to lady-killers at the first sight, and so blindly fall in love that leave aside family member?ˉs cares and advices, resulting in easily taken in for their light love (if it can be called love) which ruined their felicity in return.

The two above both are love anybody ever thought of one who combines both of them answer is , who eager to introduce all her daughters to in the ball with the hope of one of them could be singled out; who screams out along with Lydia when seeing charming officers paing in line in the street; who coaxes and threats Elizabeth to accept ˉs offer of to those kinds of parents who always try every thing to make , sometimes even force their children to marry the last kind is Elizabeth?¢Jane?¢¢Mr..Bingley as fine examples.??They take affection serious, as a matter of entire matter poor?¢fortune?¢sick?¢healthy, as long as love make each other close, they will always go whole hog to carry on the entire life together, screw courages to overcome whatever threats?¢forces jump they have already realized what they are when finding whom they born to live with for the whole in the world could stop the book says so, so does the believe this kind of person will be forever happy, for following their real feelings and instinct, not money?¢fortune or anything else.

Truth be told, I didn?ˉt finish the book before the having watched its movie aures me what worthy reading and what fascinating to be got, convinces me to carry on and I?ˉm talking about may appear to be superficial, they are my inner voice indeed.

Austin\'s ^v^pride and prejudice^v^, as she puts it, is thin on two inches of ivory carving, it is the masterpiece of Austin. Reflect the marriage problems of novel is a, the author works in the most is her favorite works.

Works of vivid reflects the late 18th century to the early 19th century in a conservative and occlusion of the British town life and the world. Its social graffiti like novels not only attract the readers at that time, solid to today, still give the reader a unique artistic enjoyment. She was the first to realistically portray ordinary grace novelist in daily ordinary life, plays an essential role in English novel.

The whole works, not least no winding ups and downs of the plot, but it is this simple, delicate and attracted us dee*.

Pride and Prejudice is my favorite novel, which impresses me for a long time. It describes a love story mainly between Elisabeth, who I like the best, and a rich and proud man, Darcy.

The story began with the arrival of a crowd of rich men who rent a house near the Bennet. In a ball, Elisabeth gave such a bad impression on Darcy\'s first pride that she refused Darcy\'s first proposal. Darcy was so surprised by Elisabeth\'s refusal that he loved Elisabeth more deeply. And Elisabeth\'s antipathy( 厌恶,憎恨 ) made Darcy realize his shortcomings. He was not angry about Elisabeth\'s censure, but also he changed his previous proud attitude. During Elisabeth\'s travel in Darcy\'s manor (庄园) . Darcy was very nice to her uncle and aunt, different from previous proud attitude. When one of Elisabeth\'s sisters ran away with Wickham, Darcy helped Elisabeth find her sister and prevent her sister from the loss of reputation, with nobody knowing that it was he who helped the Bennet. So many changes in Darcy eliminated (消除) Elisabeth\'s prejudice. At last it end with their marriage.

Taking the daily life as its material, this story reflected the life and love in a conservative 你(保守派) and blocking England town. It reflected the author\'s view about marriage that it is fault to marry for property, money and status and it is also foolish to take these elements into account. In fact Darcy\'s pride manifested (证明) the gap (间隙,差距) between their statuses (地位) . Since his pride existed, there is no ideal marriage between Elisabeth and Darcy. From the different attitudes from Darcy\'s two proposals, it reflected the feminine (女性) pursuit of personality independence and right equality, which is a progressive (先进的) character from the image of Elisabeth.

After reading this wonderful story, I can feel love, brave, deep friendship and some other good spirits in the people.

The Scarecrow wanted some brains, but on the way to the Emerald City, he thought out of a way to cross the river. The Cowardly Lion wanted to be brave, but when they met the river, he carried other friends to jump across it. And the Tin Man wanted a heart, he said he couldn’t love, but he didn’t want to hurt any animal.

In fact, they all have the things they want: the Scarecrow is clever, the Cowardly Lion is brave and the Tin Man is kind-hearted.
