pride and prejudice is my favorite novel, which impresses me for a long time. it describes a love story mainly between elisabeth, who i like the best, and a rich and proud man, darcy.

the story began with the arrival of a crowd of rich men who rent a house near the bennet. in a ball, elisabeth gave such a bad impression on darcy’s first pride that she refused darcy’s first proposal. darcy was so surprised by elisabeth’s refusal that he loved elisabeth more deeply.

and elisabeth’s antipathy made darcy realize his shortcomings. he was not angry about elisabeth’s censure, but also he changed his previous proud attitude. during elisabeth’s travel in darcy’s manor. darcy was very nice to her uncle and aunt, different from previous proud attitude.

when one of elisabeth’s sisters ran away with wickham, darcy helped elisabeth find her sister and prevent her sister from the loss of reputation, with nobody knowing that it was he who helped the bennet. so many changes in darcy eliminated elisabeth’s prejudice. at last it end with their marriage.

taking the daily life as its material, this story reflected the life and love in a conservative and blocking england town. it reflected the author’s view about marriage that it is fault to marry for property, money and status and it is also foolish to take these elements into account.

in fact darcy’s pride manifested the gap between their statuses. since his pride existed, there is no ideal marriage between elisabeth and darcy. from the different attitudes from darcy’s two proposals, it reflected the feminine pursuit of personality independence and right equality, which is a progressive character from the image of elisabeth.

Many people sim* regard Pride and Prejudice as a love story, but in my opinion, this book is an illustration of the society at that time. She perfectly reflected the relation between money and marriage at her time and gave the people in her works vivid characters. The characters have their own personalities. Mrs. Bennet is a woman who makes great efforts to marry off her daughters. Mr. Bingley is a friendly young man, but his friend, Mr. Darcy, is a very proud man who seems to always feel superior. Even the five daughters in Bennet family are very different. Jane is simple, innocent and never speaks evil of others. Elizabeth is a clever girl who always has her own opinion. Mary likes reading classic books. (Actually she is a pedant.) Kitty doesn\'t have her own opinion but likes to follow her sister, Lydia. Lydia is a girl who follows exotic things, handsome man, and is somehow a little profligate. When I read the book, I can always find the same personalities in the society now. That is why I think this book is indeed the representative of the society in Britain in the 18th century.

The family of gentleman in the countryside is Jane Austen\'s favourite topic. But this little topic can reflect big problems. It concludes the stratum situation and economic relationships in Britain in her century. You can find these from the very beginning of this book.

The first sentence in this book is impressive. It reads: “It is a truth well known to all the world that an unmarried man in possession of a large fortune must be in need of a wife”。 The undertone is very clear: the foundation of the marriage at that time is not emotion but possession.

People always think that Austen was an expert at telling love stories. In fact, the marriage in her book is not the result of love, but the result of economic needs. After reading this book, I know the truth is that a poor woman must be in need of a husband, a wealthy man.

I couldn\'t forget how eager Mrs. Bennet wants to marry off her daughters. If you want to know why she is so crazy about these things, I must mention the situation in Britain at that time. Only the eldest son had the privilege of inheriting his father\'s possessions. Younger sons and daughters who are used to luxurious lives have no choice but marry a man or woman in possession of a large fortune to continue their comfortable lives. Thus, we can see that getting married is a way to become wealthier, particularly for women without many possessions. Jane Austen told us that money and possession determined everything, including marriage and love in her century.

In “Pride and Prejudice”, the sister of Mr. Bingley strongly opposed his plan of marrying Jane because the Bennets don\'t have many possessions and their social positions are much lower than them. From this, we can see there are a lot of obstacles for a not very rich woman to marry a wealthy husband. The society, the relatives would not allow them to get married.

In modern society, although the marriages of economic needs have decreased rapidly, the concept of “money determines everything” is still rooted in some people\'s mind. A lot of parents try hard to interfere their children\'s marriages. Education background, possessions, jobs remains the main reason that may influence one\'s marriage. Marry for money is still a big problem in our society. We can\'t help thinking: can money determine everything?

Austen left this problem for us to think. The genius of Jane Austen lies in this perfect simplicity, the simplicity that reflects big problems. Although Austen was only 21 when she wrote “Pride and Prejudice”, her sharp observation of social lives makes the style of this book surprisingly mature and lively. The plots in her works are always very natural. The development of the plot is as inevitable as a problem in mathematics. I think the depth of Pride and Prejudice is the reason that makes this book prominent and classic. Today, her book still can be the guide telling us the economic relationships both at her time and in modern time.

It is universally acknowledged that the eternal theme of Jane Austen’s novels is the choice people make for marriage partners, so is in Pride and Prejudice. Mrs. Bonnet had no other wish if her five daughters could get married as soon as possible with someone wealthy. At a dancing ball, it is obvious that Mr. Bingley could not help falling in love at the first sight with Miss Jane because of her stunning beauty. Mrs. Benne was so excited that she could not hold her manner and declared publicly she would ha一ve a daughter married soon, which frightened Mr. Bingley away. Mr. Collins, a distance nephew of Mr. Bennet, came to ask a marriage to one of his cousins before Mrs. Bennet was able to get clear why Mr. Bingley left suddenly. After receiving the hint from Mrs. Bennet that Jane already had an admirer, Mr. Collins turned to Elizabeth without wasting a minute and to Miss Charlotte Lucas two days later after refused by Elizabeth. It was difficult for Mrs. Bennet to recover herself as a result of the“deadly stupid” decision made by Elizabeth until she got the news that Lydia finally married Mr. Wickham, though the marriage was built on the basis of ten thousand pounds. Mr. Darcy offered the money and did everything departing from his will just because he loved Elizabeth so much. He could not hide his feelings any more and showed his affection to Elizabeth at last, who, because of a series of misunderstandings towards him, rejected him without hesitation. This plot is the climax of the novel as the prejudice of Elizabeth to Mr. Darcy was exposed and removed since then. And the combination of the two young couples, Jane and Bingley, Elizabeth and Darcy came at last.

AS is known to all, Pride and Prejudice which was written by a famous English female writer Jane Austen is still a classic in English literature nowadays. Jane Austen who was born and lived her whole life in England wrote six books in her life time. Her novels all described the lifestyle and social communications of families in the countries of England as what she is familiar with. The book Pride and Prejudice is the typical one that fully expressed Jane’s view on marriage and emphasized that the benefit on economic exerts a great influence on marriage.

The characters in the novel all had their own opinions on marriage. Mrs. Bennet, for instance, has only one aim-that of finding a good match for each of her five daughters. As for Elizabeth, who is the second daughter in the Bennet family said that only deep love would persuade her to marry which was why she would probably end up an old maid. Lydia and Charlotte, however, were two extremes. The former just married for sex, while the latter married for a comfortable home and protection.

There are just so many different characters that were all formed under the society of England in 18’s century. Then, there was filled with unfairness between men and women. Just as what Jane Austen said,”It is a truth universally knowledge, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife. ”

Works of vivid reflects the late eighteenth to well into the nineteenth century in the conservative and block state of the British town life and ways of the world. Its social graffiti novel at that time if not only attracts the general reader, real to this day, still give the reader a unique art enjoyment.

First of all, from story to see, Elizabeth resourcefulness, have courage, these have vision, have very strong self-respect, and be good at thinking. Based on the beloved masterpiece by Jane Austen, it is the classic tale of love and misunderstanding that sparkles with romance, wit and emotional force. Critics are calling it ^Exhilarating.

One day, I read a book called pride and prejudice.

The author of this book is Austin. She comes from a pastors family. She lives in the countryside of England most of her life, so she knows the local customs very well. Most of her works are from the lives she is familiar with.

Pride and Prejudice is mainly about the love story between Darcy and Elizabeth. Elizabeth is Bennetts second daughter, the *e of the book. She is intelligent, beautiful, intelligent, and eager for true love. Because of the prejudice against Darcy, she easily refused Darcys proposal, which led to many twists and turns in their relationship. At last she got rid of prejudice.

Darcy is a young man with rich family and noble title. He was noble in appearance, flexible in mind and kind in heart, and he was very kind even to his enemy, Weiken. However, he is considered arrogant because of his bad association with strangers. After accepting Elizabeths criticism modestly, he won Elizabeths love.

This let me know that a person cant be arrogant because of his familys wealth, and he cant guess others at will and be prejudiced against others.

After reading this wonderful story, I can feel love, brave, deep friendship and some other good spirits in the people.

The Scarecrow wanted some brains, but on the way to the Emerald City, he thought out of a way to cross the river. The Cowardly Lion wanted to be brave, but when they met the river, he carried other friends to jump across it. And the Tin Man wanted a heart, he said he couldn’t love, but he didn’t want to hurt any animal.

In fact, they all have the things they want: the Scarecrow is clever, the Cowardly Lion is brave and the Tin Man is kind-hearted.

Elizabeth resourcefulness, have courage, visionary, have very strong self-respect, and be good at thinking. It is because of this quality, just make her have independent opinion on the emotional problems, and prompted her and the darcy position content family.

Books as the name implies, pride and prejudice, and in the book is male leading the obstacle of the love, but in the real society is also a munication barriers between people, but also in the right attitude towards themselves, treat things in a stumbling block. In real life, we will also often because of his unilateral idea but myself with others, so we have to overe the ^pride and prejudice^, take the initiative to understand others. Each person actually are easy to be driven by their own subjective impression, and therefore easy to incorrect ment on other people, thus caused the misunderstanding between each other. A man give first impression is can affect many things, but not must not change, want to have a more in-depth understanding, in order to have a more objective point argument, just like the heroine of the story of darcy\'s view, is because understanding just change. The book reaction of social reality is so hit the nail on the head, she is about marriage, has nothing to do with love.

Austin\'s ^pride and prejudice^, as she puts it, is thin on two inches of ivory carving, it is the masterpiece of Austin. Reflect the marriage problems of novel is a, the author works in the most is her favorite works.

Works of vivid reflects the late 18th century to the early 19th century in a conservative and occlusion of the British town life and the world. Its social graffiti like novels not only attract the readers at that time, solid to today, still give the reader a unique artistic enjoyment. She was the first to realistically portray ordinary grace novelist in daily ordinary life, plays an essential role in English novel.

The whole works, not least no winding ups and downs of the plot, but it is this simple, delicate and attracted us deeply. Austin, short life is spent in the country, almost all around may be simple, halcyon atmosphere nurtured her cool temperament. Not because there is no abundant experience, for the analysis of things for her ability to doubt.

People read the book pride and prejudice ^will be fine for her, keen emotion. When writing ^pride and prejudice^, she is just a teenage girl, isn\'t this a gift? She does very little contact with the outside world, but thought, imagination, the existence of all this is enough.

Male and Female Attitudes towards Marriage

Pride and Prejudice is a novel written by Jane Austen,an English writer, who first gave the novel its modern characters through the treatment of everyday life.“It is a truth universally acknowledged that a single man in poeion of a good fortune must be in want of a little known the feelings or views of such a man may be on his first entering a neighborhood, this truth is so well fixed in the minds of surrounding families, that he is considered as the rightful property of some one or other of their daughters.” The novel directly begins with the theme: Marriage and Austen imposed her view of marriage on her describing of relationship among different males and to the novel, males and females in some degree have diffident values towards some main characters, we can have a comparison.

First, we throw our eyes to the male George Wickham for example, he is an old acquaintance of Darcy from childhood, and an officer in the militia unit stationed near charming, he rapidly forms a friendship with Elizabeth Benet, prompting remarks upon his suitability as a potential spreads numerous tales about the wrongs Darcy has done to him, coloring the popular perception of the other man in local is eventually revealed that these tales are distortions, and that Darcy was the wronged man in their is a man with bad quality, but his appearance is deceptive, he has a witty tongue and elegant behavior, who is a deadly attraction to women like he was addicted to gambling and escape from Breton because of a large amount of has neither high status nor money, but he is willing to have an accompanier on his escaping book never mentioned why Wickham choose Lydia as his primary reason, in my eyes, is he fell in love with Mi King and Elizabeth before not because of love but that time, Wickham can not have a large heritage because of his lower social status, so he is greedier for last, helped him to pay for his debts and provided him with another 1000 pounds and a official position, which immediately led to his we can easily see, in spite of paion, money played an important role in their , aged twenty-five, is ’s clergyman cousin and, as has no son, heir to his described him as ^not a sensible man, and the deficiency of nature had been but little aisted by education or society.” He is a clumsy and conceit man and good at flattering, so he can easily appreciated

by and gets a position in chose Lady Lucas obviously attributed to expreed his reasons about marriage when he asked for Elizabeth’s hands:” First, that I think it a right thing for every clergyman in easy circumstances (like myself) to set the example of matrimony in his , that I can convinced it will add every greatly to my happine; and thirdly which perhaps I ought to have mentioned earlier, that it is the particular advice and recommendation of the very noble lady whom I have the honor of calling patrone.” So is a person who sacrifices his marriage to reality and reputation.

In spite of and ’s values, I think, Wickham and ’s attitudes toward marriage should be the majority of values at that pursue high status and money rather than how could they be happy? Their marriages are doomed to tragedies.

Now we will throw our eyes back to course, Elizabeth Benet is our first Bennet is the main character and reader sees the unfolding plot and the other characters mostly from her second of the Benet daughters at twenty years old, she is intelligent, lively, attractive, and witty, but with a tendency to judge on first impreions and perhaps to be a little selective of the evidence upon which she bases her believed that marriage must be based on love, which is one of the reasons why she misunderstood is such a girl with great wit, courage and self-conscience so that she is not polluted by society and keeps her own at last grasped ’s heart tightly and live a happy contrast to Elizabeth, her intimate friend Charlotte Lucas doesn’t think highly either of men or of matrimony, marriage had always been her believes that it is the only honorable provision for well-educated young women of small fortune, and however uncertain of giving happine, must be their pleasantest preservative from although to be sure was neither sensible nor agreeable; his society was irksome, and his attachment to her must be still, he would be her is a miserable marriage which put interest ahead of everything.

It seems a little bit difference between males and females’ attitudes towards completely regard money and status beyond everything while women conceal something in some degree but still be obseed by is an Austen expreed

marriage and love vividly among gentlemen and ladies around her by her specific female criticized the civil marriages through Elizabeth’s was obviously that the author not approved that money should be totally divided with love, but not equal to was true that money played an important role in marriage, but it not means one can gain love and marriage through his big author made full of other ladies’ relationships to expre the ideal marriage of Elizabeth.

I have the same opinion with Jane Austen on marriage and to the novel, the marriage based on money and reputation is not stable at all and people can not feel you admit or not, marriage and love do sometimes aociate with property and status, in my eyes, it not completely lies on property and should be based on mutual love and respect.

lls us that the best people to increase the dignity of life is love. Novels by the end of the row that this is such a life.

Jane is si-mp-le, innocent and never speaks evil of others. Elizabeth is a clever girl who always has her own opinion. Mary likes reading classic books. (Actually she is a pedant.) Kitty doesnt have her own opinion but likes to follow her sister, Lydia. Lydia is a girl who follows exotic things, handsome man, and is somehow a little profligate. When I read the book, I can always find the same personalities in the society now. That is why I think this book is indeed the representative of the society in Britain in the 18th century

The family of gentleman in the countryside is Jane Austens favourite topic. But this little topic can reflect big problems. It concludes the stratum situation and economic relationships in Britain in her century. You can find these from the very beginning of this book.

The first sentence in this book is impressive. It reads: “It is a truth well known to all the world that an unmarried man in possession of a large fortune must be in need of a wife”. The undertone is very clear: the foundation of the marriage at that time is not emotion but possession.

People always think that Austen was an expert at telling love stories. In fact, the marriage in her book is not the result of love, but the result of economic needs. After reading this book, I know the truth is that a poor woman must be in need of a husband, a wealthy man.

I couldnt forget how eager Mrs. Bennet wants to marry off her daughters. If you want to know why she is so crazy about these things, I must mention the situation in Britain at that time. Only the eldest son had the privilege of inheriting his fathers possessions.

Bingley strongly opposed his plan of marrying Jane because the Bennets dont have many possessions and their social positions are much lower than them. From this, we can see there are a lot of obstacles for a not very rich woman to marry a wealthy husband. The society, the relatives would not allow them to get married.

In modern society, although the marriages of economic needs have decreased rapidly, the concept of “money determines everything” is still rooted in some peoples mind. A lot of parents try hard to interfere their childrens marriages. Education background, possessions, jobs remains the main reason that may influence ones marriage. Marry for money is still a big problem in our society. We cant help thinking: can money determine everything?

Austen left this problem for us to think. The genius of Jane Austen lies in this perfect simplicity, the simplicity that reflects big problems. Although Austen was only 21 when she wrote “Pride and Prejudice”, her sharp observation of social lives makes the style of this book surprisingly mature and lively. The plots in her works are always very natural. The development of the plot is as inevitable as a problem in mathematics. I think the depth of Pride and Prejudice is the reason that makes this book prominent and classic. Today, her book still can be the guide telling us the economic relationships both at her time and in modern time.

“Pride and prejudice” is the famous British writer Jane Austen masterpiece, the works in daily life for material, the romantic and reality love story.

Just then a an unmarried ladies the lady of speaking, this is valuable. And also it is this quality, just make her in love have independent initiative ,and led to her and happy family of darcy. In my opinion, Elizabeth is worthy of praise.

In the way of the pursuit of love, be sure to a firm belief, not for money, fame, wealth, or any other cause carelessly decided to, want to hold to find true love. If the other party to some of the defect is himself can\'t stand, but also what can\'t change it, you should give up the resolute choice; Of course should also to cherish each other, not because of some of the others words, they change their decision, happiness to yourself to the business. This is the book want to communicate to the world is very precious words, is also to the heart of the pursuit of love chicken soup.

Reading this book, I be a lifetime earnings, enjoy the spiritual baptism.

AS is known to all, Pride and Prejudice which was written by a famous English female writer Jane Austen is still a classic in English literature nowadays. Jane Austen who was born and lived her whole life in England wrote six books in her life time.

Her novels all described the lifestyle and social munications of families in the countries of England as what she is familiar with.

The former just married for sex, while the latter married for a fortable home and protection.

There are just so many different characters that were all formed under the society of England in 18’s century. Then, there was filled with unfairness between men and women. Just as what Jane Austen said,”It is a truth universally knowledge, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife. ”

I have read some parts of this nover when I was about thirteen years old,but the book was really too thick for me to read over ’s a pity that I haven’t finished it till fortunately, I have watched the movie “Pride and Predudice”directed by an American film studio several months simple but pure plot, the wonderful song, the classical custume, the luxury ball, the scene full of amorous feelings from the British country, the beatiful and stubborn actress, all of these moved me . Darcy, the actor of the nover,a nobleman from the uper-classes in England, because of this , he has an inborn superiority that he looks down at every person from the lower-classes . He don’t like neither their life style nor their way to actress of the nover,an obstinate, wise young girl from the lower-classes of the dosen’t like anyone who is constumelious, she hates the spurs from the pride men. By these, you know, there’er lots of conflicts between them, but at last,Darcy and Elizabeth, the two different even opposite youngsters fall love .

That’s very incredible. In fact,we are always pride and think something in our mind but not right,we assess the others only depend on their background or their color of skin , we hide our true heart and pretend ,we dispise the others without any reason……But why don’t we ask ourselves in our heart or mind: what do we feel in fact? What do we need in fact? What do we hate and love in fact? Why not express our real feelings at once? Why not chase the happy we really want ?If we can go through the hindrances that set by ourselves,if we can express the true feelings we have and say it out loudly and clearly to somebody we want to tell with, if we can give up the contumely and spurns which block us to get long well wigh the others wo love,if we can live together harmony and sincere, if ……If that day really comes, the love will come too.

Pride and Prejudice is my favorite novel, which impresses me for a long time. It describes a love story mainly between Elisabeth, who I like the best, and a rich and proud man, Darcy.

The story began with the arrival of a crowd of rich men who rent a house near the Bennet. In a ball, Elisabeth gave such a bad impression on Darcy\'s first pride that she refused Darcy\'s first proposal. Darcy was so surprised by Elisabeth\'s refusal that he loved Elisabeth more deeply. And Elisabeth\'s antipathy( 厌恶,憎恨 ) made Darcy realize his shortcomings. He was not angry about Elisabeth\'s censure, but also he changed his previous proud attitude. During Elisabeth\'s travel in Darcy\'s manor (庄园) . Darcy was very nice to her uncle and aunt, different from previous proud attitude. When one of Elisabeth\'s sisters ran away with Wickham, Darcy helped Elisabeth find her sister and prevent her sister from the loss of reputation, with nobody knowing that it was he who helped the Bennet. So many changes in Darcy eliminated (消除) Elisabeth\'s prejudice. At last it end with their marriage.

Taking the daily life as its material, this story reflected the life and love in a conservative 你(保守派) and blocking England town. It reflected the author\'s view about marriage that it is fault to marry for property, money and status and it is also foolish to take these elements into account. In fact Darcy\'s pride manifested (证明) the gap (间隙,差距) between their statuses (地位) . Since his pride existed, there is no ideal marriage between Elisabeth and Darcy. From the different attitudes from Darcy\'s two proposals, it reflected the feminine (女性) pursuit of personality independence and right equality, which is a progressive (先进的) character from the image of Elisabeth.
